There are many ironies in the history of our great country. Hemp production is by far one of the biggest ones.
Here is a plant in industrial hemp that has little to no THC and cannot get people high, yet there is enormous nutritional value and contains a molecule called CBD which can help fight illness.
Yet most people who breed and grow cannabis for it's psychoactive properties and medicinal use in this country have bred out all the valuable nutrients and only focus on it's psychoactive properties.
Recently I travelled to Canada where I was able to visit the Hempola farm in a town called Barrie in Northern Ontario. There I saw first hand what an industrial hemp farm looks like and all the great products that they can make. I noticed also that they produce flour, oil, hemp oil capsules, and other edibles. I asked them about the nutritional value and they mentioned a variety of them including Omega-3, Omega-6, protein, .etc. I also asked if their oil and flour contains CBD. They mentioned that it did contain it. 10mg per Kilogram of CBD in their oil and flour products which is made from the seeds. They had never thought of juicing fresh leaf and typically don't use the leaf for anything.

I then read about Dr. William Courtney from California who has for years been an advocate for the benefits of juicing raw cannabis leaf. He discovered that the so called medicinal cannabis did not have enough medicine to treat patients which had severe illnesses. Also, his patients wanted treatment and did not want to get high. By juicing the fresh leaf he was able to get the nutrients and medicine out of the plant and noticed that it had no THC and would not get anyone high. In addition, in lab tests he noted that there was many times more of the nutrients and medicine than in a dried leaf. Also, by burning the leaf even less benefits and medicine was found. He concluded that the cannabis leaf in it's natural raw state had the most benefits to the human body than by drying it or burning it. He maintains that consuming the plant in it's raw form is the way nature intended it and that drying or burning the plant is unnatural and not as beneficial.
It is clear to me that industrial hemp fresh leaf would be the most beneficial to the human body if it was juiced.
Here are some articles that talk more about Dr. Courtney's findings.
